Okay, not that probably wasn't the best option. Beth should really have thought before she just opened her mouth.
But for Merlin's beard, she was a adult in a black maxi skirt with a cuff on her wrist. How did the turn of events of today lead her to this moment. "I'll come quietly, but I think your head of Department will laugh themselves stupid when they find out why I'm being hauled in for questioning about coffee and cake." Beth attempting to gesture toward the spill on the floor and looked up. "Lead the way then 'little girl'" Ugh, again Beth don't be rude! She's tried to control her temper but really, this was ridiculous.
This woman wasn't a very smart cookie, nor was she observant if she thought Alexa was arresting her for spilling
coffee when she'd already said it didn't bother her. Sometimes people didn't pay attention to things they said and Lex was beginning to think it was the case with this woman, that being the case, she didn't dignify anything the lady said with a response, instead she led the way back to Level 2 and over to the holding cells. If she wouldn't answer her questions in the Food Court then maybe the bright lights and criminal cells would be more prompting.
The walk over was relatively silent, with the young woman relishing in her first arrest. If anyone asked, she already knew what she would say and who she would tell them to take it up with.
"Have a seat over there by the table." She said as she closed the heavy door behind them. At no point did she remove the woman's cuffs and depending on how this went, she might not at all.
"Or you can stand by the table. It's all the same to me in regards to your inability to comply with instructions."
That's why she was here afterall.
"In case you don't know, this is MLE's holding area. Through that glass that doubles as a mirror is another room. This session is being recorded so it'd go better if you just did what you're told for once." Alexa walked over to the table herself and took a seat opposite the one she expected her company to take.
"Now we can try clearing a few things up." Shall we?
