As you walk through the corridor, passing the creepy spirit room and ignoring the portraits' conversation among each other, you'll encounter a turn to your left where the scene will change entirely. Here, you'll find much more lit area with a double couch, and two more single ones. This marks the Ancient Runes territory. There's a vase with white flowers in the middle of this seating area. A book or two are usually scattered on top of the small table too, those are chosen by the professor for educational and entertainment purposes. Watch out though, the issue of those comic books or magazines may be way, WAY out of date talk about 30 years late.

On the stony walls in this decorated hallway, you can find the Ancient Runes noticeboard, Odin's Trophy board and some other crafted and carved runic inscriptions.

This is the place where you pass to knock on the professor's door office, and wait for him to invite you inside.
