“…and if you ever do ANY of those things—you’ll be disowned!” Grandma Morganzo finished in her old, rickety voice. The frail woman was rocking back and forth on a chair on the enormous porch of Morganzo Manor, entertaining Elliot, Dani, and Sam while some adult business things happened inside.

Elliot did not like her grandmother. She squinted at Hera Morganzo.

“I don’t think being disowned would be that bad. Then I wouldn’t have to deal with you.”
