James heard someone sit down near him and smiled thinking it was Vinnie. She was back early. He expected her gone all weekend. Glancing over his smile fell a little as he saw it was Zoe. Well..that was unexpected. "Hi..." Was she talking to him now?
"Haven't seen you around much," he said leaning back against the tree and looking at her. He was pretty sure she'd been avoiding him. A little annoying really but...meh.
When she saw his smile fall a little, she swallowed and bit her lip. Okay maybe she should find....a spot to sit on top of the tree house? That might be empty. Yeah really awkward. "Studying" she said pulling a face "Two NEWT's to go." Yeah that didn't exactly explain the last few months or anything...like since Christmas...but it was the best she had. She looked down at the grass now. The tree house roof was looking like a much better idea now.
"How's your err NEWT's coming along?" she asked conversationally.
