London:: I've never been homesick for Alaska. The last time I was home in Anchorage was when my mother died, I haven't been back since. Settling down after spending years traveling with my dad has been difficult, but I'm doing it because he asked me to try.

This is my home now, in London. I have Ashleigh as part of my family, for her I am so thankful. But I miss Alaska more than ever. Alaska is home. Alaska was home.

Even if I went back, time has changed too much and I'll only be left with heartache and memories.
