21. LANGLOCK
Seventh Year
Molly Dumbledore sat across from Molly. They were in his office, and Molly was trying very hard to calm her racing heart. It wasn’t that she was scared. Well, okay maybe a little. She hadn’t meant to do it, of course, but now that she had done it, she didn’t regret it. And there was no way an apology would be passing her lips. Ever.
“Miss. Prewett, I ask that you explain what happened.” His voice was soft. He didn’t sound angry, but he definitely wasn’t pleased. Of course, who would be? Professor Gallows had unfortunately chosen that moment to walk around the corner, without having heard the conversation prior to it. She didn’t know, and she didn’t care, but Molly knew Dumbledore would. HE was fair.
Molly explained the argument she had between a certain group of Slytherins. It was all becoming a bit ridiculous, they wouldn’t leave her, or her friends alone. “So… I Langlocked him.” She shrugged. “He wouldn’t stop, like I asked him to, so I did it for him.”
