9. DISAPPARATE
Seventh Year
Molly and Arthur
“Bye mother, I’m just going out for a bit,” Molly called, skipping down the stairs and through the back door. She snuck behind the chicken coop, looked around, and remembered The Three D’s. “Destination, Determination, Deliberation,” she repeated to herself over and over until she felt confident. Turning on the spot, the quiet pop heard by none, she disapparated from her home.
With a bit of a wobble, she landed in the alleyway Arthur had told her about, quite near his home. It was well hidden beside a few hills, and as soon as she straightened herself she felt hands wrap around her. “Hello Mollywobbles,” Arthur whispered into her ear, giving her a light kiss on the forehead.
Molly giggled at the nickname he had started calling her, not wanting to get too close. She felt a little nauseated.
“Well done! First time solo, how was it?” Arthur asked, very interested. He had yet to apparate by himself.
“Oh it was dark and… and claustrophobic. You don’t have water do you?” she asked.
He put his arm around her, directing her to walk with him. “Not on me, but plenty at home.”
