Ben had headed to the Gryffindor common room in his flight from Professor Bellaire's office, having been interested in hiding out as he dealt with the situation. However as he got higher in the castle, he began to have second thoughts. Yes, he had left Professor Quigley the toad there at the relative mercy since he hadn't been able to do anything in his wandless state. But that didn't mean he couldn't do something now that he wasn't under Bellaire's thumb as well.
So he detoured to the astronomy tower heading to his head of house. Flamsteed he at least trusted not to get him further into trouble....he hoped. Huring his way to the man's office door, Benny knocked on the wooden surface, a bit rougher than he might normally do if he thought about it. But it was important.
"Professor..." he called out as he stood back, really hoping the man was in.
