Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Quote:

He had been reading it over for a while, trying to keep track of information on potions ingrediants that might be valuable in his OWLs. He had promised Adi that he'd at least try not to fail that exam and while he hadn't been doing bad in classes, it wasn't easy for the Gryffindor.
He hadn't even noticed when he had started reading the same passage over again as his brain seemed to freeze. Or the fact that his random yawning likely caused by his late-night studying the night before had turned more and more frequent. If either had happened, Benny might have registered the moment his head fell forward and rested on the book in front of him on the desk he had been working at. Or when it was pretty certain that the fifth year might be completely asleep in the position he currently was in. Was she in the reading room for reading? Most certainly not. There was a cozy fireplace in the mainstay of the common area for such activities. Was she looking for something to read? Most definitely. Textbooks got boring after a while, and she wasn't one for studying. As long as she did well on her practical tests, that was all that mattered. The theoretical, well, hopefully it wasn't weighted as much.
Really, she wasn't sure what she was looking for. Just something interesting. What she was not expecting to find however, was interesting in the form of a housemate flat out on a book. For a moment, Amur just stood on the opposite side of the room from him, watching. Perhaps he was trying booking by osmosis. She had tried it too. Could have told him it didn't work.
Slipping up to the table, Amur considered the boy and his flop mess of hair. Yup. He looked gone. One hundred percent passed out beyond recovery. It would probably have been a good idea to poke him and make sure he wasn't dead-gone, but Amur's attention was snagged by the book that he had taken a face-plant to.
Putting her hands on the edge of the table, she twisted her head and shoulders about to try and get a side-ways read, rather than an upside-down read. It looked interesting. Too interesting to fall asleep on. Silly Gryffindor.
Decided that this was the book that she wanted to cozy up with, Amur considered her options. She didn't want to steal, but she didn't want to wake the boy either. A sudden thought came to her, and she borrowed a corner of parchment from his stack and his quill, scribbling down a quick note that said who she was, where she was going to be and where his book had gone to. Kind of like a kidnapping note, but without an attached ransom.
Using a bit of a sticking charm, she plastered the note right in front of his nose so he would see it upon waking. Then, it was wiggle-finger time as she considered the best way to approach parting his head from the book and avoiding a 'klunk' of said noggin onto the table. Pull and wiggle seemed like the best way, so she used forefinger and thumb to grip the books pages and gently, slowly and very carefully pull-wiggle it out from under his head.
