Norah smiled gratefully at Professor Tanner's praise, before dipping her quill in ink and starting on her own calculations. Glancing back and forth between the page on Pythagorean thingy mabobs and her own parchment, she wrote:

She squinted some more at her parchment. Was she supposed to reduce the 29? 'Cause if it was 11 then she'd already finished her whole entire cycle thingy and that wasn't a lot of fun. Norah put a hand in the air and asked, "Professor? Am I s'posed to reduce the numbers or not?" That was only the amount of years bit, though, so she could keep going, yeah? She flipped forward a bazillion more pages until she got to the one they'd been looking at before, with the letter-y things. N meant adventure, O meant emotions, R was understanding-y stuff, A was independence, and H was brain stuff. Okay, so. That kind of made sense, right? In terms of an order of stuff? Norah raised her hand to contribute what she'd figured out. "I start out exploring and adventuring a lot, which makes sense because like we said before kids do a lot of that. And then I get more emotional and affectionate, probably because people start really getting to know other people by that time. And then I'll understand a lot more, and after that I'll be more independent, and I think people get more independent when they know more things, so. And then I'll come up with a lot of ideas...I dunno about what, though." TA DA! She hadn't done all that stuff before being 11 though, so hopefully she had until 29.
