So, Gabe was trying something new. And while he would usually pale at the thought, it wasn't going to be too terrible. There was an Astronomy assignment due soon and a few people had expressed interest in completing it together. Toby and Caleb had both agreed to join him...and that was all he needed, really. The other participants wouldn't matter too much...as long as he could surround himself with familiarity.

That was probably why he'd also invited Culloden and Flamsteed. Both professors he respected a great deal..and who had taught him valuable lessons. And they weren't of the opposite gender. The girl population at Hogwarts was slowly suffocating this particular Banner. Slowly, but surely. There was only so much he could stand...and it wasn't getting any easier...Especially with certain developments.

Carrying his school bag...as well as another (with an undetectable expansion charm in place), Gabe trudged out to the Lake. Lakeside. What better place to stargaze?...other than the observatory? Unfortunately, that seemed too mainstream for him these days. Everyone went there...meaning...Gabes would be scarce.

Anyway, all that was left was waiting for the others. Who else would come?
