The chains developed and sped towards her, but alas, Angel managed to block them as well. Benny took the moment of reprieve to cast a finite on his feet, letting out a small sigh of relief when he could move his feet in his shoes and both around the floor. The relief was short lived as Angel was clearly disappointed with his spell-casting, taking it as he was going easy on her rather then just because the harder spells he was using weren't his best.

But then that was the purpose of the activity...right? Learning or practicing new spells.

"I'm not..." he said as he watched as she tried out the spell he himself had just used on her, the third year unable to duplicate it. "Really I'm not going easy on you....just trying to learn the harder sp--" Benny tried to explain but was taken off guard by the second spell, one that he hadn't expected after her failed turn. And so the older lion was hit by the stunning spell with no defense and fell to the ground, one half of his body numb and tingly from the effects of the spell thankfully not strong enough to fully knock him out.
