After his sort of successful attempt at the patronus, Caleb reminded himself that he really needed to get back to business - it was fun to practice the patronus charm of course, but would it really help him on OWLs? Probably not. That was NEWT level stuff. Still, it was cool and it helped his confidence knowing he could produce SOMETHING at least...even if it was just a faint outline right now.
Which one would he do next? He decided on...Diffindo. That was a good one that might show up on the test. Walking back into his position and clearing his throat once more, he focused on the dummy and then slashed his wand across the air in front of it. "Diffindo!" he exclaimed, watching as the leather chest of the dummy burst open. If this were a real duel, Caleb totally just delivered the KO hit.
"Reparo," he said, fixing the dummy so that he could continue to practice. Plus it was just nice and courteous to the next person who came in after him.
