Oops.

He wasn't cruel UNlike her, though, so he only smiled once, quickly cast all the shields he knew around him, and set her free.

"Never let your guard down," he said, and even offered a hand to get her up. "We can focus on your weakest spell now, if you want. Or have another round of duel."

Well. That had been exciting. Not. Mr. Culloden, Professor Potions Sir, she was giving you the DIRTY EYES. YES. Because she couldn't move her face. DIRTY. Hmpf.

Finally set free - but only after he'd cast like a bazillion protection spells around him - Bambi grabbed his hand and slowly got to her feet, glad to see she didn't have a concussion. No thanks to her PROFESSOR over here. She debated for a second if another Aguamenti charm would be a good idea, but decided against it. He was right, as much as it pained her - and it DID - to admit. She had rather stupidly assumed she'd won.

Sigh.

"I assumed we were done... My mistake," she said glumly, and twirled her wand in her hand. She should have taken his wand when he was frozen. Just plucked it right out of his hand. "Yes, I'd like that actually. I need some help on my defensives, they're really weak and I have no idea why", she rolled her shoulders to shake the heavy feeling of the loss. She actually did have an idea, but she wasn't about to tell a Professor that she'd been too lazy to actually practice them. Offensives were easy, you just shoot 'em at a dummy and have at it. Defense requires patience, a partner and constant practice, none of which she possessed. At least not yet.

Wasting no time, she turned and cast, "Protego!" and flicked her wand in a straight vertical line. "See, I can do this just fine, but if you test it it just kinda crumbles," she added and shrugged. Assistance would be great, thank you.
