There was already the incantation that the Gryffindor repeatedly spoke aloud as he summoned his magic to create an array of butterflies that gathered around the window and its surrounding wall and sill.
He turned to look at the charms professor at his next suggestion. A fountain? In the office? The Gryffindor's gaze flickering to the spot pointed out by the bookcases, inwardly debating the idea. "I suppose it would look nice," he finally said giving in while he bit into the inside of his cheek in indecision. Not that he doubted that the man would do it anyway if he so desired.
Ben turned away again as he returned to his own work, moving a trail of magical butterflies to a nearby chair and table as he left Professor Maddox to his decision. A few butterflies here....another decent bunch there, a whole collection of brightly colored and marked creatures in the vicinity. The office already looking like a beautiful butterfly garden with the duo's attention.

There was sacrifice on his part too, naturally. Did anyone think he wanted to be here in this place of evil? No but you had to do what you had to do when a woman went out of her way to poison you with apples.
That being decided, Maddox conjured a grand fountain--the grand referring to size as opposed to extravagance--which ended up pushing the desk out of it's current position as it continued to grow. "Oh, look at that. Looks like we'll be doing a bit of redecorating as well." Whoops?
The Charms Professor walked to the centre of the room, glancing over everything contemplatively. "I can't shake the feeling we're forgetting something..."
There had to be MOAR they could do before they left, surely. Had to be a brilliant surprise.
Well that took way longer than she thought it would and now the woman was glad to get back to the paper work she was so engrossed in before being called away. It was always one thing or another at Hogwarts.
Imagine her surprise when she opened the door and was greeted with the scene before her.
She slammed the door shut and folded her arms.
"Well I can't say I'm at all surprised that you would pull something like this Quigface but you Mr. Atreyu.." Her lines disappeared to a thin line as her eyes narrowed at the pair.
She flicked a butterfly away and reached for her wand, while locking the door behind her.
