NOT LATE NOT LATE NOT LATE.

Totally absolutely a hundred percent not late. Because technically it wasn't a class or anything, and technically Toby had somehow managed to get lost on the way up here. Or, well, no, okay... actually he'd become distracted by a wandering cat that he'd NEEDED TO PET, so like... it was an important distraction at least.

Okay, maybe a little bit late. But the professors tended not to mind in the past, so at least there was that.

He skidded to a halt by the tapestry, really making an entrance for the group (was Glendower here? she'd like that entrance) just in time to hear the Headmistress split everyone off into groups.

"I'll go sixth floor!" were his words of greeting. Sure, sixth. How often did he visit that floor? Not often enough. He supposed it didn't get much attention, being the penultimate floor on the way to the top of the castle. It probably felt left out. "Sorry I'm late. Hi everyone. Hi... Pebbles." Was she going to map things out too? Did she have a notebook?

... Speaking of notebooks, Toby started patting at his pockets to make sure he'd brought HIS with him. Uhhhh, where was- AH. There. He pulled the now pretty tattered looking notebook from his pocket and glanced inside to make sure it was the right one, almost losing a couple of pages in the process. Yep, all good. All ready over in this corner. Also a little bit bouncy. Very bouncy. Like he'd had a lot of coffee or something. Bouncebouncebounce.
