Penelope looked at the rock in her hand and then back at Professor Flamsteed. She smiled at the astronomy professor. ”It doesn’t have a name yet. I thought you and Pebbles might enjoy keeping this one.” This was not the sort of pet rock that she intended to keep for herself. Was it okay to keep multiple pet rocks together? They theoretically couldn’t fight or reproduce if they were housed together.

Speaking of pet rocks, Penelope was getting an idea. Maybe she- no, maybe her Eagle Comrade group would like to make pet rocks. They could look for pebbles outside and bring them back to the art nook to decorate. And they could make little things for the pet rocks. It would be adorable! ”What do you think about looking for rocks outside followed by decorating them with faces to be pet rocks?” Professor Flamsteed might want to join them. She was going to tell her Eagle Comrade buddies about this.
