Okay, so WHOEVER this was, they had some kind of sense of humor, because by CALLING her "Ms. Brown," they definitely just told her that no, the charm did NOT work on the professors because HE knew who she was, and by asking what charm she meant while he CLEARLY knew, he was a joker. So that eliminated... eh, probably the herbology guy... Thompson... Botros, too... which left Flamsteed, Culloden, or Quigley, the Hogwarts trio of funny male professors. So, no matter WHICH one it was, she was in good company, and a smile spread across the fifth year's face.

"Okay, so you do know who I am. Which... answers my question, in a roundabout way. Thank you." She paused. "Also, because of what you just did, I know that you... are either Flamsteed, Culloden, or Quigley. You're the only ones with a sense of humor." Hehehehe. And... all three professors knew of her very close friendship with Tobes, so... they would help her out, wouldn't they? Without steering her wrong? "Can you point me in the direction of Tobes, then? Tobias?" In case it was Quigley, who would be unfamiliar with her nickname for the boy. "Have you seen him? Or... could you remind me of what he looks like so I can find him for myself? We didn't come together, and he hasn't seen me yet, and I want him to see how dazzling I look tonight, y'know? So..." She looked hopeful.
