Er....what? He didn't know what? About dancing with a stranger or how to dance? Both were perfectly workable guesses, but it wasn't like they were complete strangers, right? I mean, they had had classes together at least, even if their masks made them completely unrecognizable to each other. So, it had to be the second option. In which case.....

She started doing a tiny bit of a waltz, just to prove that yes, she
did know how to dance. So, yeah, no worries.
