| Someone said Dance? Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right. SPOILER!!: Zander, and Agatha Quote:

The Slytherin was about to start her wonderful dancing when someone spoke to her. She turned around to see a guy she didn't know (?). Agatha stared at him. "To see what?" She demanded before realising her was looking at her in awe. Smirk. She did look amazing, didn't she? Hair flip.
And now another person came calling the party weird. "It hasn't started properly yet." Agatha told whoever he was. She sent the newcomer a weird look as well because... were those bunny ears? Wow. What a weirdo.
Probably a Gryffindor. Quote:

Speaking of which, who exactly was this girl and was she new to Hogwarts? Zander wouldn't mind giving her a tour of the place. Show her around some of the best broom closets. You know, the casual stuff.
But before he could even ask, there was some other bloke coming over... Were those bunny ears on his... Ugh. Zander didn't like this guy. Well, he didn't know this guy, but he just knew he didn't like him. Okay? There was just something about him, something Zander couldn't quite place, but it did make him feel suspicious. Couldn't he see that Zander was busy trying to chat up the new girl??? Rude.
AND HEY was he insulting the event? Okay so maybe Zander didn't feel all too over-the-moon about it during planning, but it was mostly the girls who wanted to have the Masquerade theme in the first place, okay? Zander wanted to go with something more along the lines of the paintball thing they had a few years back, but he was outnumbered. Unfortunately. But he did work really, REALLY hard on this so there was that pride thing. But luckily, the new girl must've known it too because she was defending it. HA. "I think the place looks great," MATTER OF FACT. Okay, so Zander was biased. But still. It DID look great. "And the music is real nice too." Kind of made you want to dance. So what do you say, new girl? Not that Zander was a dancer. But erm. Actually wait, what was going on? Had he almost asked the new girl to go dance with him? Merlin. Maybe Zander was starting to forget who he was himself, too. Was the charm supposed to do that as well oooor? Aegis pointed at the other boy once he spoke up about how there was no one here he could recognize. "That's what I mean, that's what's weird!" No one would have agreed to have come to this party if they knew were going to mind wiped like this. It was sort of like a mind wipe. Probably not. He hadn't forgotten anything, just faces, and masks don't come off in masquerades. It's like a major rule or whatever.
He set that minor issue aside for the time, surely the Prefects would have means of letting everyone see each other by the end of the night. "Music is nice." Aegis agreed. "In fact, I think it's good enough to dance to." He swirled over and laid a hand out to the Mystery girl. "Would you care for one, M'Lady?" He adjusted his mask on his face just a bit then fixed his bowtie around his collar. Surely it was his duty to take her out for the first dance, shame the other boy didn't jump at the chance. |
