But that was FINE. He could still socialize. He NEEDED to, really. Homework and studying was so boring and kept him away from hanging out with people. So he was staying.
And there was a pretty girl over there looking kinda lost, so maybe she'd be good to talk to first, whoever she was. "'Sup," he said with a grin. "Pretty cool party, isn't it?" Sup? Pausing, and turning slightly to look properly at whoever was behind her, and possibly speaking to her - nope, definitely speaking to her, Hayley offered a small, but bright little smile. "It is so far, actually.. I'm impressed," Not that she normally wasn't, but it really was a masquerade ball. Like an actual one. Everyone appeared dressed up, and in costume, and the music.. she liked the music. "I would introduce myself, but I'm not sure.. are we suppose to do that?" Her smile grew just a bit, curious grey-blue eyes resting on the boy. She was fairly certain she didn't know him, but at the moment, that wasn't saying a whole lot when it felt as though she didn't know anyone around her. Besides the point, really. What was proper Masquerade etiquette?
