All her life most creatures hadn't really appealed to her or struck her interest, but spirits did. She was the Spirit lady in the crowded world of creatures people. Ah well. She was unique.

Yes, PET project; she got that part, but what did it MEAN? January was leaning over him. LOOMING over him. She wanted to know what he was ~~dragging~~ getting her into. Pet project, yes... Oh. "Bring your pet to work day?" January repeated. She leaned back onto her heels again and thought about it. "I assume this is the list of animals that we are allowing, yes?" She snatched it from his hand finally to get a good look at it. You never knew with some people. They could have some weird foreign creature caged up in their basements.
