Ahh it was good to be back in his office. Walking the castle had its benefits but today wasn't one of those days and he was happy enough being back in here with this nifty treat from Mister Mordaun--

Without really meaning to, the man hissed. What in Merlin's beard was that woman doing in his office?? If there was ever a time he thought he needed to add charmed locks to his door, it was now. Surely she must have touched or taken something. Placing the wrapped box on the table, Maddox slipped into the form of a cat and began sniffing around the room.

His door, along the floor here...and it stopped at his desk. Maddox hopped up and continued his search until his nose let him to the apple on the table that wreaked of Bellaire.

How generous.

Maddox hopped off his table, stretching into the form of a man again and nicked the apple from his table. Suddenly he had a reason to leave his office again.
