It had been so long since Bambi had been to a party, she’d almost forgotten how they went.

Drink in hand? Check. Slightly inappropriate winking and/or flirting with a stranger? Check. Complaining about something or other in a righteous fashion? Check.

It seemed like parties at Hogwarts weren’t all that different than the parties in the States. The accents were more appealing, but that was about it.

Then a friend beckoned her to dance and she forgot to think too hard. Sliding her way over, she bumped hips with friend #2 she’d made. Losing herself in the beat, Bambi danced.
