be curious, not judgmental Botros' favorite? But that was... "You and Tobes both, then. Botros is practically Tobes' grandpa, and Tobes is the best at Runes in the whole school. So there's something you can share with him." Sophie was smiling up at the younger Slytherin, hoping she thought that was cool and special, that she got to be favorites with her crush.
"Polaris looks good," Sophie approved cheerfully, then snorted at what the girl said next as she levitated her along, "No, Tobes adores you. You can be both of our favorites." She paused. "Y'know, at this rate, I'd say you're just about everyone's favorite. At least everyone who matters." The professors, her and Tobes... right? Weren't those all the important ones? Hehe.
But... Tobes wasn't her boyfriend. Sure, they were TOGETHER, but there was no label like that, but... well... Sophie didn't see much point in correcting Dot. Didn't want to try to give the girl false hope, then, did she? Still, Soph kept the smile plastered on her face and was VERY glad when the girl kept her balance and didn't fall - Merlin, Flamsteed really WOULD kill her - then squinted a little at the stars she was placing to respond to her question.
"Oh, the uh... well, Polaris is part of the Big Dipper you're doin' there, which is part of the constellation Ursa Major, or the sometimes called the Great Bear. The Big Dipper itself is an asterism, which is just basically a pattern of stars commonly known in the night sky. They're not, like, officially recognized by the International Astronomical Union like constellations are." Dot... hadn't really asked for the extra information, but Sophie Brown was a nerd, so there was that.
