"Thank you...I hope black isn't too dark for an engagement party." It was her signature color. She had so much black in her closet at home it was ridiculous. But she always made sure she had a touch of color on, even if it was an accessory like her earrings were tonight and the touch of color on the bottom of her dress.
Even in her heels he was taller than she was. She pulled herself up on her tiptoes and gently kissed him. She was really very nervous despite her calm demeanor. She didn't know anyone at this party other than Dylan, and of course Lux would be here eventually, at least that's what she figured. "So are we the first to arrive other than that gentleman you were greeting?" She gently wrapped her fingers around his.
Dylan looked down, watching Bleu's hands as they straightened his bowtie. He smiled at this, looking back up at her and raising his eyebrows as she pulled her hands away. Grinning, he messed with the bowtie, causing it to be crooked. Juuuust because he was funny like that.
He waved a hand.
"Nah, you look just fine, trust me." The fifth year told her reassuringly with a nod. In fact, she looked just perfect. The black wasn't too much for an engagement party. Although, what did he know? He wasn't very knowledgeable on the whole 'fashion thing'. But it looked fine to him so it must be okay, right? Ah, well. He needn't stress too much on the subject. All he knew was that Bleu looked absolutely beautiful in that dress and he adored it.
"Yeah, I think we're one of the first people here." Dylan said before giving her hand a quick squeeze after she had entwined her fingers with his. Suddenly, there was a knocking at the door.
"Looks like someone else is here," He said, wondering who it was.
