Tag stood in front of the house, put his key in the lock and slowly opened the door. He peeked his head through first, making sure everything was clear.
"No. I don't know where he is. I haven't seen or heard of him in hours."
He quietly crept through the living room.
SLAM! HISS! BARK! STUMBLE!
It all happened so quickly that Tag barely noticed he'd been knocked by his labrador who was being chased by his kneazle.
"What in the..." Saxon spun around and saw Tag lying on the floor. She gave him a 'you better explain yourself' look.
