Ferris disliked large groups of people. It not only gave him anxiety but it kept him from his work. His time would have been much more wisely used had the department had the foresight to not request he be at this meeting. He would be of no help anyway. Well, um, you see....because of his phobias and aversions to human beings.
.....it took several minutes but Ferris eventually slipped into the room. Avoiding all eye contact and sitting as far away from people as possible.
He missed his work space. And his entire body remained rigid.
