Laughing he shook his head, “You know what…you know me way too well because I totally would share anything with you and you know it.” Maybe he should be less obvious about things but then he wouldn’t be him so…that wouldn’t work. He smirked as she called him out and chuckled. “Or maybe…I just was so distracted that I didn’t know what was going on.” Yup that was totally it. His lips twitched as she spoke and he chuckled. “Oh I always behave you know that.” Pfffft. “But later sounds promising.” He sipped at his drink and looked back out at the lake. It really was his favorite spot on the grounds.
He shrugged at her question and pulled off a piece of pepperoni and ate it. “Then we had a discussion. She’s a good friend to you. Just wants the best for you.” He liked Amelia for that really and she’d been right. Give Vinnie some space. It seemed to work anyway. He grinned at her and shook his head. “You are perfect to me and that’s all that should matter. I don’t think I’m perfect either but you think so. I’m pretty sure everyone is like that unless they’re a narcissist.”
He turned his head as she laid down beside him on the blanket and smirked. Holding hands and cuddling in public. Double progress. He put his hand on her arm and grinned. Slowly but surely, though he wouldn’t be surprised if everyone who saw them together could figure out what was going on anyway. They couldn’t seem to stop being all cute together. “I wonder how different it’ll be from here. Like school wise.”
Vinnie just smiled and snuggled into him, he was the most adorable human being she had ever seen.
"Most important too? Even more important than chocolate?!" Of course she was just messing a little but his obsession with chocolate was just soo funny. Not that she would deny a good piece of chocolate. Unfortunately people started to arrive and the brunette hid her face in his shoulder. Why did they have to ruin this?! Whatever.
Know him too well?! There was no such thing, she loved knowing him. There were so many little details that made him who he was and she was still figuring them all out,
"I thought you were mister predictable? I HAVE to know you." How would he predictable if she didnt know him?! The consistency of his actions and behaviour just made her feel save and the slytherin didnt want it to change. It made her feel at ease...something she had never felt before....like if she walked away from him know he would still be there and be the same.
"Pffft right just blame it on me for distracting you." Chuckling she shook her head, this was so typical. She had outsmarted him, no matter what he said. Hehe.
" You mean you never behave...but later is better than never." They'd definitely do it later. They were free birds now and they could do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted.
Finishing her slice of pizza the slytherin watched him eat that piece of pepperoni and chuckled a little. Only he would eat it in different stages, so ravenclaw, analysing everything. Even his pizza. "
I know. She's the best really. I love her to bits." If there was a person she could always count on it was Amelia. And phoenix. They had been through a lot together and Vinnie was so grateful to have them.
" I just dont want her to hate you, you know? You seemed to get along fine." When he said she was perfect to him she just shook her head a little. That was so surreal. People had told her a lot in the past years but nothing had felt so genuine. "
Definitely no narcissists, mister educator." He just couldnt help it could he?! He was too damn smartiepants-ish. A cute smartiepant though.
Uni still felt so far away but if the seventh year thought about it, it was only a couple of months from now they'd be uni students. That was a very scary thought...and she was glad she didnt have to go through it alone.
" Hmm...i bet its very different. People and school wise." Everyone was new and you focused on one subject only. A subject you had picked. That was gonna be great, not to have to keep up with stuff you werent interested in.
