Opposite to the entrance of the Level and taking up approximately a quarter of the Level sits the Work Area and Cubicles. Greens, whites and browns can be seen in the furniture within the place, probably the Senior Undersecretary's idea to add a bit of colour to the place. The majority of the back wall has been transformed into a floor to ceiling window, where only certain sections of the window can be opened in case the employees wish to let some fresh air filter in.

Clusters of desks and cubicles can be seen dotted around the work area, each sectioned off for each of the different departments to make it easier for employees to interact with other employees in their division. Each employee gets his or her nametag, which will stay on the employee's desk with a simple tap of their wand for as long as they wish.

Wish to hang up your coat and other belongings somewhere other than the backs of your chairs? Not a problem! The closet towards the back of the Work Area and Cubicles can be used to store any personal belongings the employees wish to place in there. A large cabinet sits towards the back of the Work Area, complete with all of the work essentials such as spare parchment and quills.
