Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ SPOILER!!: Professor Quigley Quote:

And he would say it a few more times til it stuck--actually no he wouldn't, that would get tedious and repetitive....he didn't have time for that, but you got the idea.
And she'd be keeping the points; glad to see she still had her wits about her. He would add them some time later. Probably on his way down to dinner when he was heading in the direction of the hourglasses anyway.
For now, the Charms Professor watched her turning her rock over a few times, curious to know what the deal with it was. Rocks were just that, rocks. They didn't do much. It all came together a moment later at her question. "You can. The spell was taught so it can be put to use, not to be forgotten within another year or two. By all means, make many little dragons--so long as you control them and do not enlarge them." Because then they'd have problems and it would probably be his fault....Eh. No thanks. He didn't want that blame. "I am curious though." He fixed her with a look, one of obvious bemusement. "What are you doing with a book on couples counselling in your trunk? Surely whatever relationship you've found yourself in at this stage isn't that serious." Consider him somewhat concerned. Kid was probably like....6....she didn't need counselling. Amur smiled a little. As confusing as this dude was, she liked him. Pretty easy to forgive and forget. And he laughed at the apparently foolish things that children did, rather than get red in the face like a steam kettle.
Her small smile turned into a big grin. "I...I can?!" After all the talk about why it was a bad idea to own dragons, Amur had legitimately thought she would have to give up her pet rock, and any future of seeing another dragon again. This, was an unexpected turn. She nodded her head eagerly at all the conditions, of which there were only two. Two simple rules. Control and small. She could definitely do that.
"I'll make sure they're no trouble, Professor." Because yes, she was going to charm more than one rock. In fact, she was pretty sure she knew of a pile of stones off near the lake that were calling her name. "And if something happens - which it won't - I'll take full responsibility. I won't snitch you out."
Cause he was a pretty cool dude. Amur turned her rock even faster, just to keep herself from turning it into a dragon right then and there. Patience....patience.
"Oh, that." She giggled and shook her head. "It's not technically mine. I borrowed it from my parents. They are done with it though and it's been collecting dust on my dad's shelf. So, I thought it might come in handy for someone here at the school." She shrugged. "I heard a lot of people link up."
