Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Quote:

This time he didn't bother trying to hide the amused look. To think Ravenclaws were meant to be the innovative ones...though this also had humour which automatically ruled that lot out. "There's just something about this gesture that's overly Gryffindor and tells me you either didn't realize how offensive this was OR you did but decided it needing doing anyway. You've earned yourself 5 points for making my afternoon."
Also. "What's with the rock?" He asked, nodding in gesture toward it. Not in trouble. Amur let out a noisy breath, her shoulder slumping. Well, that was a relief.
But, what? What was this? "Off-offensive?" Amur blinked up at the man. Not in trouble, yet. But.... "I...didn't think it was offensive, at all." Honest to truth. "I...I thought it might help. You two seemed to be having trouble getting along."
Seriously. Why would she intentionally do something that was offensive? Especially to a Professor? That was just asking for trouble, and if he couldn't tell, she wasn't exactly keen on sticking her boots in that pile of mess. "How....is it offensive?"
Really Professor, innocent victim over here. "And, if it's offensive, then why did you accept it?" He could have just chucked it at her. That would have worked just as well to prove his point. And if it was offensive, then why was he laughing? Or giving her points for that matter? Just...what?
Amur decided that this Professor was much more confusing than Professor Flamsteed. And that...that was saying a lot. Speaking of rocks....
"It's .... uhm ... the dragon rock from class. I was hoping, that I wouldn't have to return it." Rewind and rephrase. "I mean, I was wondering if I could keep it." Same diff.
