Ben could only hope that he had gotten his point across and he hadn't completely read the woman wrong and been mistaken in thinking she would assist him. He waited patiently to see the answer to his silent question, the fingers of his own hand absently fiddling with the quill he had brought with him.

He watched as the woman joined him, taking her own seat near him. It was then as she smiled at him that he was inwardly relieved even before she spoke. Smiles were always good. "We're working on major cycles which needs your birthday. Reducing each set of numbers until its a single digit." She was still okay with it...right?
