Casimir entered the lounge from the dance floor. He'd walked around to survey the lot, but wasn't feeling quite up to busting out his funky fresh moves just yet. Naturally, he'd showed up just a tad on the late side, so there were plenty of people out dancing already, but he'd wanted to get to know some people before making a complete fool of himself.

Upon entering the lounge, he discovered a large group of people already sitting around chatting. A few of them seemed to have broken off into side conversations, but for the most part everyone was actively talking. Super. The twenty-four year old adjusted his bow tie and stylishly tucked his glasses into his shirt pocket. These weren't even prescription, they just looked awesome. Okay they might have been reading glasses but it's not like he was going to be doing any reading anyway.

Casimir surveyed the area, leaning against the wall as opposed to finding an actual seat among all the already on-going conversations. As he looked over the people he tried to distinguish whether or not any of them would be on level four. More importantly, he tried to distinguish which of them would be in the Department of Magical Creatures, and even more importantly which of them would be around the dragon offices. A rather ruggedly shaven man across the room looked like he could have been part of the department, but Cass had no way of telling. Hopefully someone had been told that he was joining the department and he wouldn't have to bumble around awkwardly from person to person asking which department they were from. That would take hours.

In the mean time Casimir figured he'd just lean against the wall and look cool in the hopes that someone recognized him. He thought about getting a drink so that he didn't have to pick at the lint in his pockets, but that would require him moving from his perch. And he'd found such a good people watching spot.
