He had to laugh at her a little, though. That must've been awkward, his staring that was. Not something people were meant to do, rude even. "No no, quite... quite the opposite really." And, he was thankful for that, too.
"What an.. an honor." Finn said, smiling to the grass all the while. Dandelion finder, it was silly, but hey, when one got some title, you took it. Today was just full of good surprises, something he hadn't expected. Now, for Beverly, though, today was her day. "You...shall be Miss...... Potion Master?" God, that sounded lame. He shook his head several times, chastising himself for saying such a uncool thing. "Yessum, said man will." Even he brought it up, he was in for it. Could be good for the both of them?
"I'd have them too." Honestly, who would want to eat grass? Unless a person considered themselves an animal in someones, only odd people would. So, he continued searching the grass for any specks of white that might tell him there were dandelions nearby.
It probably wasn't the easiest thing to describe a creature, but she appreciated that Finn did his best. "Interesting. What about your cat? What's its name?" Curious much? When wasn't she...but maybe Finn wasn't used to all the questions. Oops. "Actually, you don't have to answer if you don't want to." Just saying. Some people were personal about that, who knows if Finn was the private kind? She was just getting to know him.
"Oh...well that's good." She flicked him a bit of grass for that mild scare and grinned. No hard feelings. It was nice to spill a laugh here and there after stressing inside the castle for a while now.
"It should be. Dandelion Finder is one of the highest honors." Not really. There hadn't even been one before Finn, but you know, she could play along. "Miss Potion Master?" She tapped her chin. It was catchy. "That sounds like something to put down on a resume, do you want to know what would sound even better?" Did he, hmm, HMM?
Now they had a challenge. Fun. She was looking forward to it and she hoped he didn't forget. "Be a man of your word, Mister Finn. I expect a quote weekly." She sniffed, putting up a pompous act, then grinned. Joking, bud.
They agreed on the chocolate bit. See, she wasn't that terrible of a judge of character. They agreed on stuff, most importantly food stuff, and were getting along famously. When has making friends becoming this simple? Or was it just Finn? Because there were people in this castle who annoyed her beyond belief and she hoped to one day see them trip and fall for entertainment purposes.
