It was a dismal summer morning when Kazu finally reached upon the foot hold of his grandmothers house. The air and ground was thick with the damp air that the surround fog had brought with it. Thinking about it Kazu realized when he had come to visit his grandmothers house the weather was always the same as it was today. Which perplexed him, but he dismissed it as soon as the very questionable thought passed into his head taking a moment before knocking on his grandmothers door. He takes a small step back to look at the small cottage his grandmother called home. It was a small looking place judging from the outside it looked like a one room shack.

He knew very well it wasn't like him his grandmother practiced magic, thinking again of this fact he wondered if she had produced the surrounding fog to hide herself from outsiders. He took another step toward the door and extended his arm up towards the door and with a slight bending of the wrist knocked on the door. Not even finishing his knock the door swung open and what stood there would have startled a normal person. It was his grandmother who was of a small frame and was cloaked in a dusty gray shawl and her matching hair color was tightly pulled back into a bun with a thin stick sticking into the said bun. Knowing her Kazu knew that the stick that was stuck into her bun was her wand.
