| Post 5 - Annabelle Marie Lynch Otter This World ♡ Catpurrccino ♡ Slotherin ♡ Pandamonium Quote:
Janelle was starting to rethink her choice. How did she expect anyone to ever guess who she was supposed to be? She probably should have chosen someone at least semi-known, but she did not. She chose someone who meant the most to her, not her classmates. Oh well, too late to turn back now.
Then the mystery woman asked Janelle another question. She smiled at the thought. "No, I didn't invent anything." So far her partner knew that she was a witch who didn't invent anything. That was not a lot to go on and with one question left, it was not looking good.
Janelle threw out her second question, not sure whether it would help her or not. "Are you alive?" She wanted to know if this was someone from the present or the past. She was narrowing her choices down, but the possibilities weren't narrow enough. She could still be one of a billion women.
Hady twirled a strand of her long dark hair around her finger. That was a trait she knew and could remember of Annabelle's. Sadly as they years passed a lot of memories had faded but those she could recall best she held dearly to her heart. That wasn't the point here though and wouldn't help her friend figure out who she was.
As the next of her questions was answered she didn't get the answer she'd hoped for. All she knew was the person was a witch that hadn't invented anything. Not a very big help at all especially with only one question left. Hady had to make this question good or she wouldn't be figuring out who this person was anytime soon.
Was she alive? No. Sadly the answer would be no. Keeping her face blank and her voice from wavering at all as she answered this question wasn't easy, not even for a Slytherin like herself. So when she answered it was a bit quiet but she was sure Janelle had been able to hear her. "No. No I'm not."
As sad as the question and answer she had to give made the second year it helped lead her towards her next and last question. "Are you a relative of Janelle's?" Cause maybe just maybe like herself that was who the other young girl had chosen to be. Right now it didn't matter if they she was able to figure it out or not...she just wanted to be done. |
