Bad brother.
Sighing slightly, he pulled open the door, and strode into the shop to look for his brunet counter-part. Gazing around the immediate area, he didn't recognise Gabe, so he started to move around the shop looking for a single male, likely with the books or the inks. When that didn't work, he took a better look at the men in the shop - berating himself for not finding him instantly. He usually could spot the Ravenclaw instantly.
....
Gabe was with a girl. Talking to a girl. And he wasn't panicking - though he did look tense and not at all at ease with the conversation. Hmm.
Taking the final few strides over to his brother, he moved towards the tall blonde female who was... actully taller than his brother. Huh. Crazy, Gabe had taken a growth spurt the last time he had seen him and silently, Thunder had wondered if the man would be even taller this time he saw him.
Okay, so it had been too long - they knew this.
Placing his hand carefully on Gabe's shoulder, he squeezed it lightly in welcome. "Hey bro." He said softly, his accent lilting slightly. "How's it goin'?" He said, a small smile curling over his lips as his eyes flitted between Gabe and Puck. "Hi." He added, to said woman standing beside Gabe and the journals. Quote:

Hello…what was going on? There was a guy staring at them and well…that was weird but weird strangely HOT guy was getting a casual look…he was old though like in his 20’s maybe? So nope. Not happening.
Turning her attention back to Banner she just raised her eyebrow “Eight?” She asked and shrugged. “Yeah get just the leather bound ones then cheaper and you can always use char—“ attractive older guy just called him bro. “Seriously? You have to be kidding brothers?” She asked and looked between the two.
Dark hair…the faces were rather attractive hellooooo attractive guy whose apparently Banner’s brother? Was this place going to fill with Banners? That would make more sense if they were at a sign emporium right? RIGHT? “Hi” she blinked back at the guy.
“Brothers?” She asked, ”Banners seriously?....not fair” she accidentally muttered the obvious truth because hello Banners were HOT.
How was Puck the leader of anything? She had to be the densest girl on the face of the Earth...but Gabe wasn't going to correct her. He wasn't in pain, either. Just tired. And yes, she would assume this was a selfish venture. Did he come across as arrogant?
He enjoyed sharing ideas...

....and there was Thunder. Gabriel tensed for a moment...but only a moment because he'd made the decision NOT to tell his family about the Prefectship. Though, Thunder hadn't been included in the choice. He was the equivalent of a black sheep and hardly came around, since writing had taken his focus (which...Gabe had all the material he'd published to date). Some guilt was felt, though. He'd been so focused on being a recluse, he'd forgotten to owl.
...but as an aside, Gabriel was comforted by his present. He knew that Thunder would get them away from the situation if he was uncomfortable. But all was fine for now. He had to get these journals and then worry about more parchment. His notes were nothing to joke about, okay?
"Everything's okay."......Sigh. And not to be a total jerk, Gabe squinted at Puck.
"This is my brother, Thunder." He didn't bother mentioning the 'Ward' last name, as he didn't want the Gryffindor to ask uncomfortable questions. Ones that weren't any of her business. He quickly collected eight of the plain journals and started for the parchment packs.
