Alright....that's why they call it practice. He wasn't going to get it the first time. It hadn't happened that way with the little fishy that he had made with Zeke and it wasn't happening now...obviously. Benny knew he just had to keep trying and trying he would be doing. He was going to get this spell right if he had to try all day, which he doubted he did the permission to do so, at least in the classroom. But still.

It would be the perfect chance since he was with AJ teasing his girlfriend who was having the same trouble as he was. The Hufflepuff wouldn't notice and technically did promise him a dragon.

"Draconifers!" he cast once more, with the proper slash at the stone. But again it remained a stone. Benny took a deep breath and stared at the stone. Come on...come on. "Draconifers!!" he tried again not waiting long after the previous time. He would have deemed it another failure but the stone on his desk reacted this tim. Soon enough he had a textbook-size green dragon on his desk leaving him in complete awe for a few minutes as it tested its legs out on the wooden surface.
"Hi...." the Gryffindor finally made out.
