On another note, Benny had decided on being loyal to his British roots, picking a Welsh Green dragon for his challenge. It was one of this breed that they had studied in a History of Magic class on an incident involving it a term or two before. One issue down, any number of others possibly as he prepared to try his hand at transfiguring a small version of one of the magnificent creatures. Now he had to focus...really focus...on the task at hand.

With his chosen stone set on the desk before him, the fifth year kept his attention and focus there as best he could. Not on the dragon currently perched on Professor Bellaire's shoulder. Focus...focus. Then he pictured the Welsh Green dragon he had seen in a book on the matter in his studying. It was a pretty picture and had caught his attention. "Draconifers!" Benny finally cast with the slashing movement with it. But alas, the stone remained a stone.
