Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | Post #2 - Thank you! ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Quote:

As long as it took Amur to fully comprehend what the Professor was saying. She didn't even think that she might have looked just a little bit loony standing there with her mouth hanging open, producing some sort of noise acknowledgement.
As soon as the last pieces of the puzzle clicked into place in her mind, Amur bobbed her head. "Thank you, Professor! That makes me feel a lot better."
So really, they were giving the stones life and movement, at least temporarily. What a lucky stone! She offered another quick bob of her head before scuttling back to her desk with her stone.
Placing it on the top of her desk, Amur settled herself back down on her backpack pillow and withdrew her wand. Now, the incantation. She should probably practice it first before trying it on the stone. Professor Bellaire had said that their dragons would be taken away if they didn't come out proper or friendly. As much as she was reassured that this was not the creation of life, Amur still didn't want her 'creation' to be taken away. And if she was going to give a rock movement, she was going to make sure it was a happy moving rock.
Unless she picked a grumpy one. That would be a problem.
Letting out a slow breath, Amur exchanged her wand for her quill. "Dragonifor. Drag. On. Ee. For. Dragon. Eefor." Almost like they were hitting a golf ball that was a dragon. Dragon fore. Oh dear.
She swished her quill in the motion that the Professor had done. One side to the next. "Dragonifor. Dragonifor. Dragonifor!"
Seemed simple enough. Seemed easy. She knew it wasn't.
Continuing to practice the wand movement, Amur closed her eyes and went to picturing what her dragon would look like. Side-swish wand. Side-swish wand. Like a dragon's tail.
