Several
Harry Potter actors and creative team attended the 2015 EE British Academy Film Awards in London on Sunday evening. Unfortunately while many were nominated in film and creative categories, the only notable victor was composer Alexandre Desplat (shown below with his BAFTA), creator of the musical score for both
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows films, who won Original Music award for
The Grand Budapest Hotel.
The BAFTA film awards were hosted again by actor Stephen Fry, who narrated the
Harry Potter British audiobooks since their release.
Also in attendance were
Harry Potter-specific nominees, actors Imelda Staunton (Umbridge; nominated for Supporting Actress for
Pride); Julie Walters; and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort; Best Actor nominee for
The Grand Budapest Hotel).
