She pursed her lips. "You, to my rescue? Maybe it's the other way around." Had he even considered THAT, huh? Sweet, innocent Paulie needed a wake-up dose of awesome, amazing Bunbury? THAT was probably Louisa's plan. She was all about woman-power, not about the man 'rescuing' the damsel in distress and whatever other nonsense Paulie's Gryffindor brain thought up.

The redhead shook her head in delusion denial. "You're here...." she repeated him, amusement etched all across her face as he knocked his knees on her desk, "to talk about the music festival. I see. So what do you want to talk about? I went, if you were wanting to know that. Too late to ask me to dance with you now." Hmmhmmhmmm she was smirking again. "In my opinion, the best act was that Xander Lockwood. Or the Wiggenweld, they were pretty hilarious."

She leaned back in her seat, her legs still crossed at the knee with one foot tapping thoughtfully in the air. "And which did you enjoy, Mister Wizarding Wireless Radio?" Or had he changed careers already?
There. No more discussing anymore of that 'Auntie Tori' business. Paulie was satisfied. Not so hard, eh?

The former Gryffindor opened his mouth to naturally argue against Tori's 'rescue' theory, but then he stopped. Yes, he did think before speaking occasionally. His brow furrow juuuust a bit. Paulie HAD been having a ruddy bummer of a time lately. HAD that been Louisa's plan? She would do something clever like that, that Ravenclaw...... "Oh, whatever," he answered dismissively, unwilling to admit to the possibility of Tori being right. "Chances are it was just for laughs." Mhmm. Probably.

Yes. The music festival. Which, actually, didn't NEED to be talked about anymore since apparently Tori had not requested his help after all. But they were on the subject..

"Mhm, Louisa said ya were there." Too late to ask her to dance, HAH. Well, Paulie was a sort-of fan of dancing so yes, he would have danced with her had he believed that she didn't despise him by now. He also hadn't actually seen her, so that too. "I liked Wiggenweld quite a bit. Melanie Sung had a real good voice, but her songs weren't really my style." He noticed the foot-tapping and the way she leaned back in her seat like he was an employee, and she his boss. Ahem.

"Awh, and the food. The fried chocolate frogs and the burgers were amazing." His mouth watered a bit.
