She was starting to think she was just over-analyzing everything, though, and it was causing her to work too slowly. Okay, so now she needed to catch up. Quickly, too.

At least it shouldn't take too long to perform the spell. Kate had already practiced the incantation and wand movement separately. Now all she needed to do was put them together and cast on the toadstool. Speaking of her toadstool, she heard a very distinct "Bologna sandwich!" and figured it was time to hurry up.

Kate flicked her wand out her holster and gave a quick jab forward toward the toadstool. "Silencio!" she said. The sound coming from the toadstool softened until it was heard no more. Whew. Okay, now to get everything labeled and moved.
