To work on the house crest, Toby shrugged off his own outer school robes and twisted them around so he could look at that crest properly. It was weird, how little he'd really looked at it before, given that he'd been wearing it for over five years now, AND they had it on their Quidditch things too, which he always paid a lot more attention to. Hmkaayyyyyy.

Problem with using a chamaeleon here was that... Toby wasn't entirely sure just how to draw one. Sure, he'd SEEN one before. Or, well... pictures. Maybe stuff from a documentary or two from when he'd been stuck inside back home and decided to watch TV shows about animals (that never lasted long; the whole 'circle of life' thing had always been a bit too... uh... upsetting for his tastes). But it was a lot harder to remember and draw from that. BUT HE TRIED. He got a new piece of parchment and roughly sketched out the general outline of a chamaeleon. It was... not great, but he was SO SURE that he got certain features in there that made it obvious what the creature was supposed to be. Then Toby added in all the other fancy crest background stuff, but he didn't have any coloured ink (well, he did, somewhere, but it always got lost within the first week of school), so the Hufflepuff simply labelled the background with 'Purple' and the chamaeleon with 'Teal'.

But he needed to think of a name, because the crest had it written there at the bottom, and Toby was trying to emulate that. He cast about in his mind for something creative and maybe amusing, but nothing was coming to him. Time in class was surely about to run out, so Toby just went with the first thing that came to mind, printed it across the bottom of the new 'house crest', and added it to his notes.

It had all the current house names AND the school name all jumbled up in there. So maybe it could work.
