Pouting, Lux looked at the one in front of her wanting to look after it and make it healthier. Since she wasn't sure how exactly to do that with fungus, she decided to leave it for the moment. Maybe that would be a part of the lesson; that would be fun because she had enjoyed caring for sick plants last term.
Professor Millard wanted them to guess what was in front of them, and Lux had no clue so time to look at the textbook. Flipping to the correct page she was surprised to see how many varieties of toadstools there were. Looking back and forth between her sad toadstool and the book, she finally had a guess. Raising her hand she said, "Is that a Pink Waxcap?" |
