"Heyy look at that Tuxedo cat over there." he pointed and whispered to his lion buddy. He was coming up to them and following them. "I think he is coming over to say hii.." he grinned and began to pet him as he came closer. Tuxedo cat? Why in Merlin's name would a cat wear a-- Oh. OOOHHH. "Nice!" The Gryffindor gave the older Hufflepuff a smile, but kept his eyes on this 'tuxedo' cat all the while. And... It was making it's way over?! Zander got up off his bum and set his notes down to the side. Couldn't resist petting the cat, you know? Creatures were creatures. Even if he was a Cruppy person and all... He loved any creatures really. It was why it was one of his favorite subjects, creatures were AWESOME!
Zander got up fully now and walked over to the lil' creature in mention. Holding up his hand, the Gryffindor began petting the cat, turning back only to grin at Kace. "Is there anything about a cat that's needy for being pet?" He chuckled a bit as he began walking back over to the older boy.... That was strange... Did he have a shadow? Or.... was the cat following him over? "... Uh... What does this mean?"
