Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter series, was reported hospitalized for flu-like symptoms after arriving at Orlando airport Thursday evening. Coltrane was one of the five actors set to attend Universal Orlando Resort's A Celebration of Harry Potter this weekend, along with James and Oliver Phelps, Evanna Lynch and Sir Michael Gambon.
Coltrane's representatives told TMZ that he fell ill during the British Airways from London to Orlando on Thursday. The actor is currently at a local hospital for overnight observation and treatment.
No word yet on if this will affect his appearance at A Celebration of Harry Potter - which SnitchSeeker will cover - but as soon as more information is released, it will be announced here.
