Gathering his focus, the fiifth year let his gaze nearly stare solidly at the book as he brought his wand up from his side to follow through as he spoke the incantation.
"Diminuendo!" he cast once more, before echoing it shortly after with another "Diminuendo!" for good measure. The book responded well to the magic of the spell, shrinking quite small until he released it. There...that should do it.
Benny was quite satisfied with how he had progressed. So after casting a quick "Finite," on the book to return it to his rightful size, he returned it to where he had gotten it before moving to leave the annex for now.
