Was it just him or was the smell getting stronger?
And not a good stronger since it wasn't exactly a pleasant smell in the first place. They hadn't moved so it wasn't like they were getting closer to it. Spotting some greenery along the wall across from him that he hadn't noticed before, he couldn't help seem confused. However it was then he noticed the water that had suddenly developed as it came up above the sole of his shoes to envelop his feet.
He stepped backwards unconsciously as they were joined by Professors Glendower and Moxley. "I would say we have an issue," he answered, his hand slipping into his pocket where his wand resided. Now should they be doing something? The Gryffindor looking between the four professors as he absently stepped back as if it would help.
